
So on our last night in New Haven, we have to give Ibiza a shot. Luis Bollo is the head chef here, but that doesn’t mean anything to me since I have no idea who he is. But I guess credit has to be given to him since the Spanish food here is so fawesome! (not fugly, but fawesome..geddit?)

I like that they gave us appetizers compliments from the chef. Nice touch. The cheese/potato balls were great but the scene stealer was the orange gazpacho. I’m not a fan of cold soup, but this is one cold soup I’ll take anytime =)


Duck confit and scallops. Sinfully good. Too bad the duck confit is not on their regular menu.


Duck breast and short ribs. I think duck is difficult to cook, but they managed to do it so well. The short ribs just melts in your mouth…drools.

Honey-infused ice cream with cheese souffle(?) I can’t remember..but i heart honey-infused ice cream
Food was great, but the door bitch was an unfriendly one. No smiles, no nothing, just absolutely curt. For that, 1.6 thumbs/2 thumbs. Could be higher.
